Embarking on a retreat involving the sacred medicine of Wachuma combined with visits to mystical sites such as Machu Picchu, Quillarumiyoc, and the Sacred Valley in Peru promises a transformative and deeply spiritual journey. Wachuma, also known as San Pedro, offers participants a profound opportunity for healing, self-discovery, and connection with the spiritual realm, while the ancient ruins and natural wonders of Machu Picchu, Quillarumiyoc, and the Sacred Valley provide a backdrop of ancient wisdom and mystical energy.
As participants delve into the healing properties of Wachuma during the retreat, they are guided on a spiritual exploration that takes them to Machu Picchu, the iconic Inca citadel shrouded in mystery and spirituality. Here, amidst the awe-inspiring ruins and majestic mountains, they can connect with the ancient wisdom of the Incas and experience a profound sense of reverence for the sacred land. Additionally, visits to Quillarumiyoc, a sacred site dedicated to the moon, and the Sacred Valley, with its mystical energy and ancient temples, offer further opportunities for spiritual growth, introspection, and connection with the natural world. This holistic retreat combining the medicine of Wachuma with visits to these powerful sites provides a unique and transformative experience for those seeking healing, renewal, and spiritual awakening.
This day you will be picked up from the airport and then go to your hotel, this day you will need to acclimatize so we recommend that you drink a coca or muna tea and eat light food.
In the afternoon after lunch we will visit two important spiritual places, the temple of the moon and Kusilluchayoc. Here we will receive the introduction, preparation, permission and blessings from our Pachamama, Apus and Nustas and with those strength and energy that will revitalize us, we will be ready to be in communion with the medicine, Wachuma.
Our day begins with your pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am to go to Killarumiyoc, during the course you will have beautiful views of what is part of the Andes of Cusco and obviously your guide will be giving you some information interesting in the area.
Upon arriving at the ceremony center, the teacher will give you an introduction to the medicine of Wachuma (San Pedro). They will talk about its origins, history, our purpose and intentions. In a few words, it will be a time to share ancestral knowledge, so that later he will serve you medicine.
The ceremony will last between 6 to 7 hours, depending on your process and how you feel. After lunch and to finish our beautiful day of ceremony, you will be taken to your hotel.
The ceremony with the offering to Mother Earth (Pachamama) will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the hotel.
You will observe how the Master prepares the offering with love, his prayers and many blessings and you will participate in each moment, learning and sending all your intentions towards the offering.
At the end of the preparation of this offering it will be offered to the Mother Earth and to the Apus in the sacred fireplaces.
The work with the medicine will be at the hotel, as always our teacher will begin the ceremony by calling the apus and nustas. This day we will mainly focus on personal fulfillment and being generous with ourselves.
once the ceremony is over and after lunch in the afternoon, our Vistadome train will depart from the Ollantaytambo train station towards the town of Aguas Calientes. Above all, the Vistadome train offers a unique connection to the landscape along the path to Machu Picchu, making passengers feel as if they are somehow part of the nature that surrounds them.
After having a delicious breakfast we will go to the bus station to take the buses to the majestic Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Crystal Condor”. After a 25 minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, where we will have to present the entry tickets with your passport.
Your tour guide will take you to the best views and the best-known places that this beautiful place has. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours. You will also have moments of connection. Since in the time of the Incas this place was considered one of the most important and spiritual.
At the end of the visit we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, a private bus will take you back to Cusco and back to your hotel.
If you are thinking of hiking to the Huayna Picchu mountain or the Machu Picchu mountain, you will have to reserve your tickets well in advance.
This day we will pick you up from the hotel at 9:00 am to go to Chinchero, where we will be near the Piuray lagoon, here we will work more in depth with medicine and we connect more with our allies, mainly we will work with the strength of this beautiful nusta that is Piuray.
At the end of the medical work we will have lunch. Finally we will go to Cusco and take you to the hotel
