Summary
We will explore the ruins of Tiahuanaco the greatest power before the rise of the Inca Empire, we will visit its main ceremonial center, the impressive carvings, stone monoliths, including the Puerta del Sol carved in a single solid stone and the display of a calendar and the deity that have not yet been deciphered, a pyramid used for ritual sacrifices and the site museum where the pieces found at the site are exhibited.
Itinerary
Puno – Tiahunaco
On this tour from Puno to Tiahuanaco, we pick up passengers at 6.30am, during our journey to Tiahuanaco we will visit different places such as the Inca Uyo and the mystical gate of Aramu Muru, we will make a small stop in Pomata to observe the beauty of Lake Titicaca in its maximum splendor. When we arrive at the desaguadero border we must present our respective documentation; Once in Bolivia, we will have our Bolivian guide who will take us to our destination Tiahuanaco, where we will have lunch and visit: Puma Punku, Sun Gate, Akapana Pyramid, Stone Museum, Beneth Monolith and others. Then we will return to Puno, arriving at approximately 6.30pm.
