An Andean wedding is a meaningful and transformative experience, marking a new chapter in your life together filled with love and purpose.
An Andean wedding in Cusco goes beyond aesthetics; it honors the land, culture, and love. This unique ceremony reflects your connection with nature and creates lasting memories.
For this celebration we will pick you up from your hotel at 9 am, we will choose a special place where the wedding will take place and the places we recommend to choose are Chinchero or Quillarumiyoc to seek the blessing of the mountains.
Then, our Master will meet with you to explain the deep meaning of this ceremony and tell you about the miracle of being together in Love and walking through life together. Before the ceremony, a cleansing ritual is performed with incense and floral essences.
A Despacho (offering) is prepared to Pachamama (Mother Earth) as an act of gratitude for all the blessings we receive. The offering is prepared with many natural elements such as seeds and sweets, but the most important element is coca leaves. A group of 3 perfect coca leaves known as “Kintu”, to close the ceremony, hand-woven belts are given as a traditional symbol of this ritual.
At the end, the challa (toast) is made to celebrate the joy and miracle of the union of soul mates.
